Seminole Hard Rock Parking Garage - Hollywood, Florida
TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc., was the Prime Consultant, while providing structural engineering design, construction documents and construction administration services for this 2500-car steel parking garage for the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Broward County. The structure is 1,000,000 square foot, over 70 feet tall, and over 1,100 feet long.
Design Challenges: The parking structure spans over an existing zoo with two (2) 120-foot long by two-story tall steel trusses (see photo). Nearly every pile cap was custom designed to adapt to extensive existing below-grade utilities.
