Broward County Government Center - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. provided structural engineering design, construction administration and threshold inspection services on this six-story, 1200-space government parking garage in Broward County. The parking garage was designed for a future 2-story addition and the addition of a heli-stop on the rooftop. There is a separate parking area for supervisory personnel and County Commission Members on an intermediate level. Through a connecting ramp, users of the new garage may enter the Broward County Office Building through an existing garage and across an existing covered walkway at the second level.
