Bledsoe County Correctional Complex - Bledsoe County, Tennessee
TRC Worldwide Engineering provided the structural engineering design and contract administration for this new correctional facility in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. The new facility will consist of 14 new building structures consisting of 2 story medium and maximum security housing units, one story minimum security complex, and other maintenance, administration, and support structures. Structural materials and systems for the different buildings range from precast concrete housing units and walls, structural steel beams and joists, prefabricated metal building systems, and wood construction. When complete the new facility will be capable to house an additional 1,956 inmates.
