TRC Worldwide Engineering provided precast engineering services for the parking structure at The Standard at Tampa, a high-density student housing development located near the University of Tampa.
This seven-level, 180,000-square-foot garage was designed to support off-campus living with a wrap-style configuration that seamlessly integrates with the adjacent residential and amenity areas. Our precast engineering team implemented a helix-style one-way ramping system to promote smooth, intuitive circulation, while wide two-way drive aisles were engineered to improve traffic flow and reduce internal congestion.
With over 550 parking spaces, the structure includes dedicated EV charging and multiple access points with gate controls to accommodate high-volume usage. The garage connects directly to an elevated amenity level that features a rooftop pool, fitness center, dog park, and more — all supported by the underlying strength and flexibility of precast.
