TRC Worldwide Engineering provided structural engineering services for The Academy at Holly Tree Gap, a vibrant early learning center located near the Brentwood/Nolensville line in Middle Tennessee.
This single-story wood-framed building is supported on a shallow foundation and features a soil-supported slab-on-grade system. The 13,500 GSF facility includes approximately 16,100 GSF under roof and is framed using pre-engineered wood trusses for structural efficiency and streamlined construction. The design also includes a prominent porte cochère drop-off at the front of the building, along with a structurally engineered monument sign and dumpster enclosure.
Inside, the building offers over 11,000 square feet of colorful, thoughtfully designed space, fostering an enriching environment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. The Academy’s playful architectural character mirrors its mission to inspire learning through imagination, safety, and care.
