Learning Zone at Watercress – Huntsville, Alabama

TRC Worldwide Engineering served as the structural engineer for Learning Zone Watercress, a newly completed 13,643 SF preschool and daycare center in Huntsville, Alabama.

This single-story, wood-framed building is supported on shallow foundations with a soil-supported slab-on-grade. The roof is framed using pre-engineered wood trusses, offering both structural efficiency and long-term durability.

Positioned to serve families in north Alabama, the facility embraces a cutting-edge STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum—designed to foster creativity and critical thinking in young learners.
