The Lake Avenue Parking Structure is an 8-level, 350,000 SF precast facility offering 1,000 parking spaces across three bays. Strategically located to serve both the University of Tennessee and the City of Knoxville, the structure supports a blend of campus, municipal, and community use.
The façade features a carefully detailed combination of stone and brick, creating a timeless architectural aesthetic that blends with the surrounding urban and campus context. Designed for both short-term and long-term parking, the facility enhances access for students, faculty, visitors, and city residents alike.
TRC Worldwide Engineering served as the precast engineer, ensuring structural integrity and efficient constructability while coordinating closely with project partners. The structure also facilitates continued access to a previously existing garage on-site, helping bridge new infrastructure with existing assets in a growing urban corridor.
