Innovare Affordable Apartments - St. Petersburg, Florida

TRC Worldwide Engineering provided structural engineering design and contract administration for Innovare Affordable Apartments, a 62,000-square-foot mixed-use affordable housing development in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. Situated on a 1.43-acre site, the project consists of 51 apartment units housed within two five-story buildings, designed to support both residential and commercial needs.

Building 1 includes 6,000 square feet of office space while building 2 offers 3,500 square feet of service and amenity areas. The two buildings are organized around a central courtyard, enhancing community interaction, and are separated by a surface parking lot for added convenience.

Designed with long-term durability in mind, the structures feature reinforced concrete floor slabs, interior steel column framing, and concrete and masonry shear walls for stability and resilience.
