Havana Square - Tampa, Florida

Located in the heart of Tampa, Florida, Havana Square is a modern mixed-use residential development designed to enhance urban living with high-end amenities and convenient access to retail spaces. TRC Worldwide Engineering provided structural engineering design and contract administration for this six- and eight-story apartment complex, which is uniquely designed to wrap around three sides of a five-level, 555-space parking garage.

The development features ground-level retail spaces, offering a pedestrian-friendly streetscape while maximizing space efficiency for residential units. Above the garage, a fully landscaped amenities deck provides residents with a resort-style pool, clubhouse, and lounge areas, creating a vibrant and engaging living environment.

The structural system incorporates post-tensioned concrete flat slabs, concrete columns and shear walls, a pile foundation system, and a pre-cast concrete exterior skin, ensuring long-term durability and structural efficiency.
