Drew Memorial Health System – Monticello, Arkansas

The expansion and renovation of Drew Memorial Hospital, accomplished in part with USDA Rural Development funding, adds significant new capacity to a 40-year-old facility. The 51,000 SF addition includes a new Surgical Suite with four operating rooms and two C-Section suites and a specialty care center for visiting physicians. The new Women's Center aims to position the system as a regional birthing leader of southeastern Arkansas. The renovation included an expanded laboratory in place of the former Labor/Delivery suite.

Through this project, the Drew Memorial was able to grow from a rural county hospital into a comprehensive health system, bringing world-class medical care close to those in Drew county and surrounding communities.
