TRC Worldwide Engineering provided structural engineering design services for a new one-story, 9,161-square-foot, three-bay fire station featuring a small mezzanine and two additional bunk rooms.
Designed to enhance emergency response in a rapidly developing area, the station expands coverage for regions previously served by two of the city’s busiest fire stations. The structural design builds upon elements used in earlier facilities, refining and improving them to meet the evolving operational needs of the fire department.
The station is equipped to house a four-person fire engine, a battalion chief, and a cross-staffed brush truck, supporting both fire suppression and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. TRC’s design approach prioritized operational efficiency, durability, and long-term adaptability - ensuring the facility can scale with the community it protects.
