TRC has been selected as the structural engineer for the new Public Safety & Administration Complex for the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) to be located on the Brighton Reservation. The Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation is one of five Seminole reservations in Florida held in trust by the federal government for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Established around 1938, the reservation is 35,805 acres in size and is home to about 570 Seminoles.
Based on the architect’s preliminary phase, the complex will include two single story buildings with approximately 101,000 gross square feet. One building will house the Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Operations Center, and shared living quarters, dining and recreation. The second building will house tribal administration staff.
Only four architectural firms were asked to submit their qualifications.
