Brandenton Centre Garage
A 493 space parking structure with retail spaces and Chamber of Commerce offices in Downtown Brandenton. This multi-use parking garage is built over a previous parking lot and on the City’s Main Street. Designed and built as part of economic development including a new hotel, retail spaces, and offices.
100+ spaces on ground level are dedicated to the nearby hotel. General parking on upper levels is accessed via exterior express ramp.
Vehicle circulation is via park-on-ramps and a 2-way traffic pattern. Pedestrian circulation is primarily via stair and elevator towers near retail and office locations. This total precast project includes architecturally enhanced structural components. South elevation incorporates sail-like banners reflecting the nearby waterfront and harbor. Southeast corner has a dramatic suspended full height aluminum fin canopy at Chamber of Commerce entrance.
PARC features are being investigated and may be incorporated as part of the City Parking program enhancement. ParkSmart Certification to be sought. Garage is fully sprinklered due to mixed-use.
