787 Highlands County Sheriff’s Administration Building - Highlands County, Florida
TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is providing structural engineering design and contract administration services for this two-story, 50,000 square foot facility on an 8.8 acre site. The facility has been designed to survive and function in extreme Category 3 - 4 hurricane wind speeds through the use of wind and impact resistant construction materials.
The facility will house Sheriff’s Administration, including Central Records and General Services, Emergency Communications, Property & Evidence, Criminal Investigations, Uniform Patrol, and Support Departments such as Information Technology, General Services and Training.

- Essential facility designed for 130 mph Exp C winds with a 1.15 importance factor
