Florida Gulf Coast University - Margaret S. Sugden Welcome Center

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. provided structural engineering design, construction administration and threshold inspection services on this single story, 6,900 square foot building to serve as a welcome and reception center. This area, opened in June 2004, is part of a "gateway" leading to the main campus of the University. The center houses a large reception area, offices for admissions staff, a 2,000 square foot theater-style orientation room, support facilities, and a canopy to shelter people entering and leaving the building.
