TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. provided structural engineering services for the addition and renovation to Clark County Correctional Facility. The 208-bed expansion features increased support services, including a new kitchen, commissary, and laundry and recreation areas. This project consisted of 16,646 gsf of new construction and 72,058 gsf of renovations.

Key Structural Components
Gravity system consisted of concrete pan joist slab system with reinforced concrete columns and drilled pier concrete shaft foundations.
Lateral system consisted of concrete shear walls.
